Changes and updates:

20210214: The link for the daily videos corrected. Seems nobody ever checked these.

20190302: Experimenting with the Full HD image again, but displayed at 1280x720px in the page.

20181011: AIS Receiver station 4606 installed on site.

20170824: The number of images which were not completely uploaded I think was quite unacceptable.
The bigger number of hops was definitely a problem with the timing in transferring the HD images.
I've tried a different setup where the camera would store the 1080HD image locally and where WebDAV then would have to take care
of putting the image in the webspace with our ISP again.
Well, it didn't work! So, I've gone back to using the 768x432 pix image for this page. Back to square one again.
If only the ISP would have just kept supporting FTP to the webspace from within their network, there would not have been any problem.

20170708: The page was moved out of the webspace of our ISP to the hosting package with this domain due to that the camera
can only use FTP while our ISP is dropping FTP in favour of SFTP. As this involves a lot more hops over the Internet there
is much more chance that the image will not be uploaded in time, thus resulting in lost images.

End of July 2016 I changed the site to use the full 1920x1080 image, but displayed in the page as only 768x432 pix.
With photo-only you get a page with only the image in full size (as transmitted to the site).

Some statistics, updated:
The image is renewed every 5 seconds. With a photo size at 1920x1080px of between 110-240kB that results in a data stream between 220-480kbps plus overhead.
With a new image every 5 seconds there will be 17,280 images per day, which is up to 3.9GB of data each day.
The image size is 1920x1080px, but is displayed on the page in 768px × 432px.

On 20160507 the camera was replaced. The original camera will now be returned to the manufacturer.
The micro SD-card issues should be solved now. However, the issue wasn't replicated after October.
BTW, the microphone of the previous camera had been inadvertently blocked with tape.

20160114: I have a replacement camera from the manufacturer, now it's finding an opportunity to go on the roof to replace the camera.

On 20151031 the micro SD-card in the camera was replaced.
All Sail-out photos were recovered from a folder that wasn't accessible any more with the card in the camera.
This is some weird issue which hasn't fully been understood and thus not been solved (yet).

20151019 16:20 LT: XS4ALL has a problem with all their pages and servers off the net, due to which the photo our page isn't updated as the image is on an XS4ALL sever.
I guess I should put the photo on the server hosting the page direct. However, using the XS4ALL server to put the photo is less hops on the net, and thus more reliable.

The camera was repositioned the 23rd of August 2015 while also the micro SD-card was replaced then.
Photos were recovered from an in the camera inaccessible folder on the micro SD-card.

The camera was installed the 18th of August 2015. It is a Y-Cam Bullet HD1080 2nd Gen.
Y-Cam is no longer in the market, but became HomeMonitor.

Some statistics:
The image is renewed every 5 seconds. With a photo size of some 30-40kB that results in a data stream of some 48-64kbps plus overhead.
With a new image every 5 seconds there will be 17,280 images per day, which is up to 675MB of data each day.
The image size is 768px × 432px. The time is local European Time. The camera is pointing at about North-East.

Note:
A smooth transition between images is most likely experienced in Firefox, K-Meleon, and LunaScape.
Most likely in Chrome, Comodo Dragon, Safari, and Internet Explorer no smooth transition between
images will be experienced; the image flashes while it disappears a very short time when reloading.
Other browsers not tested.
